Last updated: 23 September 2026. Measurements are our manufacturer's own specification sheet for this garment (style TSM 201), not our estimates.

Everything is a boxy unisex cut in 165gsm combed cotton, made and printed in South Africa. It is meant to sit loose. If you want it looser still, go up one size. If you want it fitted, this is not that shirt.

Measurements

All numbers are the garment laid flat, in centimetres.

  • Half chest is measured across the chest 2cm below the armhole. Double it for the full circumference — the column beside it does that for you.
  • Length runs from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
  • Shoulder is the seam itself, collar to sleeve head, one side.
  • Sleeve is from the shoulder seam to the cuff edge.
Garment measurements in centimetres, laid flat
Size Half chest Full chest Length Shoulder Sleeve
S 55.5 111 69.5 14 21
M 58.5 117 72 14.5 23
L 61 122 73 14.5 23.5
XL 64.5 129 75.5 15.5 24.5
2XL 68 136 77 15.5 26
3XL 71 142 79 15.5 27.5
4XL 75 150 81 16 28.5

Allow a centimetre either way. These are cut-and-sewn garments, not machined parts, and a small tolerance between production runs is normal.

How to measure one you already own

Take a shirt you like the fit of and lay it flat. Measure straight across, just below the arm holes, from one side to the other. That number is directly comparable to the half chest column above.

Match the chest first. On a boxy cut it is the measurement that decides whether the shirt works. Length matters less, and shoulder and sleeve almost never decide it.

Between two sizes

Go up. The cut is already relaxed and the larger size reads as intentional; the smaller one reads as a shirt that shrank.

This shirt runs generous

Worth saying plainly: our S has a 111cm full chest. On a lot of South African brands that would be an M. If you normally take a medium and you like a close fit, the small here will probably still do the job.

If it is wrong

You have 30 days from delivery to swap for a different size, unworn and unwashed. You pay to send it to us, we pay to send the replacement out. Sizing is the thing people get wrong most often and we would rather sort it out than argue about it.

That promise sits on top of your legal rights, it does not replace them. The returns and refunds policy sets out all of them.
